Shire Security Ltd can now offer Emizon 21

NO ONE wants to take chances with the security of their business premises, which is why Shire Security Ltd is proud to meet the standards laid down by the industry's regulatory bodies. The Kettering company provides an emergency response to its security systems along with the design, installation and maintenance of NSI Gold Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control. Other products include for Fire Alarms, Door & Window Security, along with Nurse Call Systems.

The company's average response time to an emergency call out and arrival at site is currently 26 minutes, well within the industry's guideline of four hours. Shire Security Ltd offers monitored systems which are connected to East Midlands Central Station who are themselves NSI Gold. EMCS's Claire Poyser-Blair said: "Thanks to the continuing support from loyal customers like Shire Security Ltd, we are proud that after 20 years of trading, EMCS remain the only truly independent ARC in the UK." Both companies are approved by NSI, the National Security Inspectorate, to Gold Standard, ensuring that they continue to meet the highest recognised industry standards as demanded by the police, fire services and the insurance industry.

Martin Wall from Shire Security Ltd said: "Being an NSI Gold Company, we undergo two audits every year. One involves site visits of their choice where they assess the work we carry out and the other is based in our own offices to ensure that the way we operate continues to meet their standards." Shire Security Ltd can now offer Emizon 21. Glyn Rogers of Emizon explains: "Emizon is the first secure, managed, dual path signalling service specially designed for today's broadband networks. The hardware used is easy to install, not site specific and works with any broadband service. The dual path signalling is EN Grade 4 compliant and is fully managed on both paths and in terms of future proof is compatible with BT's 21CN roll out designed for IP Networks.

"In terms of cost effectiveness, there is no connection charge, no need for a dedicated line and no call charges." Shire Security Ltd have embraced the new technology and added it to its product offering along with their existing signalling equipment.

"We are proud of our response times, well within the standard guidelines and the service we offer to our customers," added Martin Wall.
