Kettering based Shire Security Ltd have been "re-recognised"
by the Investor In People organisation - which means
they continue to be officially acknowledged as one of
the best employers in the area.
And what has delighted the team at Shire in particular,
is that they were assessed against the new profile standard
this year, which benchmarks their performance against
other organisations.
Said managing director Michael Markham: "I am
really pleased. Being recognised in the first place
is one thing, but re-recognition is often more difficult,
and we have come through this test with flying colours.
"This year the organisation have raised the standards...and
it is a real feather in the cap that Shire has met them,
and it proves that we continue to take our responsibilities
as an employee seriously," said Mr Markham.
