Local security group slashes emergency
call-out times by 50 per cent - and more
The Stanair Group, which installs and maintains industrial
door and access security systems in the East Midlands,
is achieving major reductions to the industry-standard
emergency call-out time of four hours. The group already
achieves emergency call-out times of less than two hours,
and during the past three months it's access security
division, Shire Security Ltd, has achieved an average
of just over 30 minutes for emergency calls.
The Stanair Group is certified to the international
ISO9002 service standard, which allows a maximum of
four hours from receipt of an emergency call to arrival
of engineers at site. Performance figures are audited
regularly by third party inspectorates such as the Loss
Prevention Certification Board, NACOSS and the SSAIB.
The group provides a round-the-clock emergency service
365 days a year from its four service centres in Kettering,
Peterborough, Rugby and Milton Keynes, and during normal
working hours it regularly achieves a two-hour response
to emergency call-outs. Out of hours, the group aims
for a maximum one-hour emergency response.
Stanair Group Managing Director, Michael Markham commented:

to compromise on product quality and high levels of
customer service. An average emergency response time
of around half an hour is much better than most companies
in the security business can provide, and being welcomed
by our customers. It reflects great credit on our management
and staff.”
